Battlefield 6 is a first-person shooter featuring a single-player campaign and team-based online multiplayer. Players fight as infantry or operate military vehicles across large-scale battlefields, using class-based squad roles, environmental destruction, and a range of weapons and equipment. The game also includes Battlefield Portal, a toolset for creating and sharing custom multiplayer experiences.

Battlefield 6 - Community Update - More to Season 5
Our last roadmap update in July detailed what we were preparing for in Season 5. Now that the season is officially live, we want to update you on our active development plans and what you can expect from Battlefield 6 through the end of the year.
Yesterday, developers from across Battlefield Studios joined the community for our Season 5 Battlefield Discord Live Q&A. The team answered 42 questions during our 60-minute live Q&A session.

Necromorphs, Shadows, Whispers, and More, Oh My! Here's a sneak peek!
We're adding several new Effects to Portal, including visual and audio effects pulled directly from the Halloween Dead Space experience.
NecromorphEffects allow you to transform soldiers into Necromorphs. Unlike their original appearance, you're not limited to Bots or a specific team in Portal; you decide who gets transformed. ShadowSilhouette turns a soldier completely black and can be combined with the Necromorph effect or used independently.
We're also opening up several of the audio effects used to create hallucinations and atmosphere. Builders can make individual players hear whispers, monster noises, a surreal ambient drone, or even fake footsteps and gunfire. These sounds are only heard by the affected player, opening up new possibilities for player-specific warnings, hallucinations, misdirection, or whatever else you can come up with. How will you choose to terrify your lobby?
Coming to Portal November 10th! @role-name
